VOLUME XV - LIBRARY OF BABEL'S FIVE ON FRIDAY

I suppose I should have done the Brexit edition last week, but then I was already a week behind with my Lunar New Year Edition. I'll catch up next week: Valentines Day, anyone?

THIS IS THE NEWS

What happened to London's giant bell? Is it the bell's end of Big Ben?
Hello. As with last week, I'm going to just post some links then attempt to ramble incoherently into a microphone for twenty minutes, leaving you wondering why you didn't just follow the links in the first place. Do that, no-one will know.... I mean, I will: at least five people listened to it last time...

But first (and in service to the greater blogger gods: read Froth's Humpday Blog-O-Rama and please have a look at this incredible blogroll at Dragons Never Forget.
My five favourite blog posts this week:

A final note about Zine Quest: in case you were not aware, I am pleased to announce that I am involved with the following Zine Quest projects:

The first is CENTIPEDES! created by Chuffed Chuffer, author of the infamous SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED CENTIPEDES blog. It's a system agnostic zine all about centipedes and you can back it here:

Secondly, I am the creator and writer of Pariah, a psychedelic animist neolithic old school RPG zine which you should totally go and back right away!

Until next time...

    1. I'm having some technical issues, I may have to re-record it but there will definitely be something up there by the weekend.

    2. Should be there now. I'm afraid I don't say anything interesting about your post, I wanted to get into the idea of living and exploring imaginary space as a worthy activity in and of itself but it didn't happen.I'm new to the format and it's going to take me a while before I feel comfortable within it. Nonetheless, hop that you can find something of interest within the fifteen minutes of my droning!

    3. I've listened to it. I am not in a habit to listen to podcasts, and (maybe due to such unfamiliarity but also maybe not) the difference in what I usually read from the written text and how much the intonation of sounds adds is somewhat overwhelming to me. But the experience wasn't unpleasant. I think I much prefer that kind of more subdued delivery to something that is way-too-energetic and loud (for example, if you know of youtube reviewer Nostalgia Critic, he is unlistenable to me because at random intervals after what is kind of measured reviewer voice he often starts screeching).
The references you did to other things related to reviewed links were interesting.
      Thank you for sharing.
